‘Partners in Facilitation’ is a newly formed partnership bringing together facilitate this!, Facilitating Change, Kinharvie Institute of Facilitation, Louise Robb Associates and Simply Change.
Partners in Facilitation aims to raise awareness of facilitation as a profession and seeks to advance the leading edge of facilitation learning and practice by jointly hosting and promoting larger scale events within the UK. In addition to this, we hope to generate awareness and appetite for the facilitation skills set to a wider audience.
Our first event is to bring the leading international expert facilitator, Ingrid Bens, to the UK. A prolific writer and master facilitator, Ingrid will share her insights and experiences of working with a wide range of organisations, across all sectors. Ingrid is recognised as a leading expert on facilitation and over the last two decades has trained thousands of people to be facilitators. Her publication, “Facilitating With Ease!” is a world wide best seller. Other titles include “Facilitation at a Glance”, Advanced Facilitation Strategies” and “Facilitating to Lead”. Ingrid continues to expand her global appeal with her books now being translated into Chinese.
This October, we have invited Ingrid to host the two events below and we would be delighted if you were able to join us. Places are limited and bookings are underway so don’t delay.
Facilitation Strategies for Leaders provides an introduction to Facilitative Leadership and is ideal for managers, leaders and facilitators alike.
Advanced Facilitation Strategies provides facilitators learning to advance meeting design, manage dysfunction and redirect ineffective behaviour.
We do not intend to make profit from our ventures, however we do aim to provide highly stimulating, educational and self-financing events that advance the leading edge of facilitation learning and practice.
